Neymar’s cruise holiday is already underway and has set sail from Santos, the Brazilian star’s hometown, as it begins a luxury journey around the country.
The Brazil international’s three-day trip will see the cruiseliner travel from his native land to the south zone of Rio de Janeiro and back.
Thousands of passengers have snapped up the expensive tickets for this offshore vacation, which features a permanent DJ, casino, music concerts and a water park on board.
And they will surely be delighted to be onboard the boat, with the theme based on the Barcelona and PSG footballer’s favorite activities and the chance to hang out with the player himself.
The 31-year-old, who is now contracted to Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia, is known for his partying lifestyle.
But on this occasion, it seems that the player’s in-house business acumen is responsible for the new venture.
Neymar cashes in on party lifestyle
Neymar, who is sidelined with an injury after tearing his ACL earlier this year, is keeping busy while he is recovering from the serious knee injury.
Passengers will be able to hang out with Neymar while he enjoys the cruise with them, although they will pay somewhere between $1,106 and $6,636 for the privilege.
According to reports, the player may have earned close to $R20 million (Brazilian Rials), which is equivalent to more than $4million, through the revenue of his cruise tickets.
Although the Brazilian’s image is usually associated with splashing out on parties and luxury holidays, the Brazilian has found a way to make money through this lifestyle.
Neymar is hardly short of money, though, as the forward signed a two-year contract with the Saudi Pro League team worth $300m that could rise to $400m depending on commercial agreements.
In addition to this, the player also signed an agreement with Al-Hilal that stipulates they will pay him half a million dollars for each post he makes on social media promoting Saudi Arabian tourism.
