President Donald Trumpās wealthiest supporter, Elon Musk, unleashed a posting spree on X about the files around the federal investigation into sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
It was only a month ago that Musk had his falling out with Trump, where he alleged that the president is in the files.
āNot a single Epstein āclientā has been prosecuted. Not even one,ā Musk replied to āWorld of Warcraftā designer Mark Kern. In the post, Kern alleges that it isnāt merely about the files themselves, but about the ācorruptionā they represent.
Kern later posted, āIf itās a fake, deliver the evidence that shows itās a fake. If the evidence was destroyed by the prior Admin, tell us that and show us that. But this, this aināt it.ā Musk responded with a bullseye emoji.
Far-right commentator Matt Walsh wrote, āYelling at me to stop talking about a subject is the number one way to make sure that I keep talking about the subject.ā
That prompted Musk to reply, āIf even a few of the very worst Epstein āclientsā were to be prosecuted, that would be something. But zero?ā
Trump ally Julie Kelly asked if everyone could at least agree the case was āshadyā from the start. Walsh then posted the comment, adding his own, āThis is the attitude I just canāt understand. Thereās āno doubtā powerful people were involved with child sex trafficking and yet you canāt comprehend why some of us care about that and donāt want to let it go? I would think the answer is self-explanatory.ā
It inspired Musk to, again, remark, āNot a single Epstein client has been prosecuted. Not even one.ā
Musk also responded to a video of Trumpās Wednesday press conference, where he again alleged that the Epstein issue was somehow a āhoax.ā
āWow, amazing that Epstein ākilled himselfā and Ghislaine is in federal prison for a hoax,ā wrote Musk.
An individual with the handle DOGE Designer posted a photo of a sad-looking Musk with the caption that he was complaining about no āclientsā being prosecuted. Musk replied, āThis fact has me shook tbh. For real.ā
It prompted an individual to ask, āDid you know the enormity of what you were stepping into? In hindsight?ā Musk responded, āWe were all told that the list was going to be released.ā
Self-described life coach Kaizen D. Asiedu reposted a comment from Polymarket showing a screen capture of Trumpās Wednesday Truth Social post attacking his supporters as āweaklingsā for believing the āEpstein Hoax.ā He noted Trump said heād release the files, and that his staff had even hyped the release before fumbling it, and then began blaming Democrats for the backlash.
Musk responded, āThe old: 1. Admit nothing 2. Deny everything 3. Make counterclaims. But it wonāt work this time.ā
Polymarket then described the odds that Trump was on the Epstein list as 100%. Musk called it a āhigh level of confidence.ā
