President Donald Trumpâs wealthiest supporter, Elon Musk, unleashed a posting spree on X about the files around the federal investigation into sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
It was only a month ago that Musk had his falling out with Trump, where he alleged that the president is in the files.
âNot a single Epstein âclientâ has been prosecuted. Not even one,â Musk replied to âWorld of Warcraftâ designer Mark Kern. In the post, Kern alleges that it isnât merely about the files themselves, but about the âcorruptionâ they represent.
Kern later posted, âIf itâs a fake, deliver the evidence that shows itâs a fake. If the evidence was destroyed by the prior Admin, tell us that and show us that. But this, this ainât it.â Musk responded with a bullseye emoji.
Far-right commentator Matt Walsh wrote, âYelling at me to stop talking about a subject is the number one way to make sure that I keep talking about the subject.â
That prompted Musk to reply, âIf even a few of the very worst Epstein âclientsâ were to be prosecuted, that would be something. But zero?â
Trump ally Julie Kelly asked if everyone could at least agree the case was âshadyâ from the start. Walsh then posted the comment, adding his own, âThis is the attitude I just canât understand. Thereâs âno doubtâ powerful people were involved with child sex trafficking and yet you canât comprehend why some of us care about that and donât want to let it go? I would think the answer is self-explanatory.â
It inspired Musk to, again, remark, âNot a single Epstein client has been prosecuted. Not even one.â
Musk also responded to a video of Trumpâs Wednesday press conference, where he again alleged that the Epstein issue was somehow a âhoax.â
âWow, amazing that Epstein âkilled himselfâ and Ghislaine is in federal prison for a hoax,â wrote Musk.
An individual with the handle DOGE Designer posted a photo of a sad-looking Musk with the caption that he was complaining about no âclientsâ being prosecuted. Musk replied, âThis fact has me shook tbh. For real.â
It prompted an individual to ask, âDid you know the enormity of what you were stepping into? In hindsight?â Musk responded, âWe were all told that the list was going to be released.â
Self-described life coach Kaizen D. Asiedu reposted a comment from Polymarket showing a screen capture of Trumpâs Wednesday Truth Social post attacking his supporters as âweaklingsâ for believing the âEpstein Hoax.â He noted Trump said heâd release the files, and that his staff had even hyped the release before fumbling it, and then began blaming Democrats for the backlash.
Musk responded, âThe old: 1. Admit nothing 2. Deny everything 3. Make counterclaims. But it wonât work this time.â
Polymarket then described the odds that Trump was on the Epstein list as 100%. Musk called it a âhigh level of confidence.â
