Kirsten Dunst revealed that Tom Cruise looked out for her as a child actress while promoting her new film Civil War on Thursday on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The 41-year-old actress while wearing a silky black dress with spaghetti straps was asked by Jimmy, 56, if her co-stars ever bought her stuff.

‘Would they get you a pony or something like that?,’ Jimmy asked.

‘Tom Cruise put a Christmas tree in my dressing room as a child,’ Kirsten shared.

Kirsten landed her breakout role of Claudia in the 1994 gothic horror film Interview With The Vampire that starred Tom, 61, and Brad Pitt, 60.

Tom, who played immortal vampire Lestat de Lioncourt in the film, surprised Kirsten with the thoughtful holiday gift as they filmed on location at Buckinghamshire’s Pinewood Studios.

Kirsten told Jimmy that late comedian Robin Williams, who died of suicide at age 63 in 2014, also bought her a Mac computer.

Robin and Kirsten starred together in the 1995 fantasy adventure film Jumanji and her first computer at age 13 was a wrap gift from the comedian.

‘A big, colored Mac computer. The new one. The new ones in the 90s,’ Kirsten said.

‘I was flipping out,’ Kirsten added.

She recalled that it was the ‘dial-up Internet’ era.

‘We were naughty on chat rooms, me and my friend. We were very innocent but extremely naughty,’ Kirsten admitted.

Kirsten also told about having fun on set as a child.

‘Like, I remember doing a lemonade stand with Susan Sarandon’s daughter on set. I had a very nice experience in the films that I did,’ Kirsten said referencing actress Eva Amurri, 39.

Jimmy asked who she sold lemonade to and Kirsten said they sold to Christian Bale and Winona Ryder.

Kirsten said she couldn’t remember how much Christian paid when asked because she was around 13 at the time.

‘I tell you something, I remember every five-dollar bill every uncle ever handed me, you don’t remember that?,’ Jimmy quipped.

Kirsten said it was funny that he mentioned that because she recently gave her six-year-old son Ennis $5 for a tooth.

‘He took it to the candy store, “I’ve got to get rid of this, this man creeps me out”,’ Kirsten said. ‘He’s like, “I just want to spend this five dollars.”

‘What man?,’ Jimmy asked.

‘Abraham Lincoln,’ Kirsten said.

‘He couldn’t get rid of it fast enough. He was like, ”Get rid of this creepy man”,’ Kirsten said.

Kirsten also has two-year-old son James with husband Jesse Plemons, 37.

She was on the ABC talk show to promote her upcoming dystopian action film Civil War.

Jesse has a role as an unnamed soldier in the film written and directed by Alex Garland, 53.

Kirsten in the movie portrays a renowned war photojournalist who covers the rapidly escalating Second American Civil War.

‘It’s like a big blockbuster, but yet it’s a very meaningful movie about photojournalists and what they go through. The way Alex Garland made this film feels very immersive and it’s very intense, and very good,’ Kirsten said.

Civil War had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 14 and is scheduled to be released in theaters in the US by A24 and in the UK by Entertainment Film Distributors on April 12.
