Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources officials captured a record-sized lake sturgeon in the Wolf River near Shawano. The fish, which measures 87.5 inches long and weighs more than 240 pounds, is believed to be the largest lake sturgeon ever caught in the United States. Experts estimate the specimen to be approximately 125 years old, meaning it could be the oldest freshwater fish ever caught.
