Kylian Mbappe was in attendance as top NBA Draft prospect Victor Wembanyama played his final regular season game for French side Metropolitans 92 on Tuesday night in Paris. The sporting duo met after the game as Wembanyama prepared to watch the NBA Draft Lottery in Chicago, and fans couldn’t get over their encounter.

The immense size of Wembanyama was highlighted on Tuesday night as he towered over Paris Saint Germain superstar Mbappe before the NBA Draft lottery.

San Antonio Spurs secured the No.1 pick for the upcoming 2023 NBA Draft, meaning they’ll almost definitely end up with Wembanyama following the event on June 22. Wembanyama is perhaps the most highly anticipated NBA prospect of all-time, with this much hype surrounding a player last seen when LeBron James was coming through the ranks in 2003.

Mbappe was courtside as he watched his fellow Frenchman in action, with Wembanyama scoring 22 points in a 93-85 win over Paris. But fans couldn’t help but comment on the immense height difference as Mbappe looked like a child in comparison to Wembanyama.
