He’s been back in the UK filming scenes for the new Fast and Furious spin-off.

And Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson left some of his fans stunned over the weekend as he headed to a gym in Doncaster to tone up his muscular physique.

The 46-year-old Hollywood heavyweight happily posed with the owners of the World Fitness Gym as he took break from filming Hobbs and Shaw, which is set for release in July 2019.

Dressed in casual grey tracksuits, Dwayne enjoyed a 90-minute workout at the gym before taking some time to pose for snaps with fans, who were stunned to see the former wrestler at their local leisure centre.

The Hercules star has been in Doncaster to film at the decommissioned Eggborough power station near Selby, after spending a week shooting in Scotland last month.

Dwayne’s incredibly muscular physique was difficult to miss, as it was revealed that only a few fans were present for the outing.

Alicia Carrera, who runs the gym with her husband Craie Carrera, told the Doncaster Free Press: ‘We only knew half an hour beforehand that he was coming. When he walked in, people couldn’t believe it.

‘A few weeks ago, we were visited by a bodyguard who said he had a famous client who was filming in the area and was interested in using the gym. 

‘He said he couldn’t say who it was and we didn’t ask. He took some photos and details of the gym and said he would get back to us when he had spoken to his client.’

Dwayne is set to reprise his role as Luke Hobbs in the upcoming spin-off alongside Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw, with the film also starring The Crown’s Vanessa Kirby and Luther’s Idris Elba. 

Last month, Dwayne gave fans a first look of the movie as he shared a snap of him and Jason, staring each other down.
