The Paris Saint-Germain forward is back in his native Brazil where Christmas is celebrated under sunny skies.
What are your best Christmas memories?
“The best moment is being with my family and close friends. Those are the memories are those that come immediately to mind.”
Where will you spend your holidays in Brazil?
“I’m going to Guarujá in the south east and then I’ll travel with friends, among them is Gabriel Medina, who’s a surfing champion. It’s important to take the time to be with those close to you.”
What’s your schedule for the festive break?
“It’ll be with friends and family, because I miss them. I always look forward to giving my son and mother a kiss. There’s also the Christmas meal. We eat turkey, that’s typical.”
Christmas is also an important time for the Neymar Jr Institute…
“Yes, it’s a key time for children. I use the opportunity to visit them and – when I can – I invite friends, other footballers or athletes. Each year, we put on a special Christmas show, the proceeds of which go to the Institute. I’m happy what it has accomplished for children in the last few years.”
